Little amounts to something

A little savings in the glass piggy bank amounts to the exact sum which is sufficient for a Domino's pitza! Coincidentally the promotion brochure was found outside the house door. What a surprise. Just so timely to satisfy my pitza gratification. Never knew such little savings like 1dollar every other day in the glass bank could save up to get me a pitza meal, which I get to share with four of my other family members. Nice and pleasant.

Cross Junction

What is in the days to come? Further education or permanent job? Not definite but the formal seems so tempting, getting a course one really like.
Dreams are like blood to life; ought not be cut off whilst pursuing reality - feasible goals.
Never give up because when you do, everything ends.

Can't believe I actually went to church on Sunday. Enjoyed how I can take away learning points for myself without having to entertain others around me (since I'm not a regular here), which I see normally regulars in all churches have to and which I perfectly understand the need to - a gesture of friendliness. but I just don't feel like it and that doesn't mean I'm unfriendly definitely - I need sth more than just hi-byes, sth of more conversational value than surface value, u noe wad I mean?

Back to the gist of this post, focus of today's sermon was Luke11:14-54. Just sharing of my personal learning which you can have the right to not agree, I fully respect that.

From this lesson,
I see Jesus as a person who is logical and reasonable, able to argue well in truth. (Luke11:14-26) Here, he exorcized a man and in response to challenges on his authority in doing so, he offered 3 logical arguments which debunked his accusations.

I see Jesus as a person who focus on the bigger picture, his one mission during his entire lifetime instead of the temporal feelings or sentiments which when viewed in long term serves no purpose at all. (Luke11:27-28)

I see Jesus telling us that accepting him as saviour is the crux since he is greater than previous. It could be as simple as this because nothing else matters, really. (Luke11:29-36) What we 'see' is actually a reflection of our 'mindset'.

I see Jesus as a person who is simple and needs only one thing to be close to him - to accept him. Laws and ceremonies are there but they aren't absolute. It's the heart and mind  for him that matters.
Thnks to today's speaker, I could now connect to the 'reality' during which this verse took place in Jesus' time. It was the then highly esteemed priviledged God-loved sect Pharisee's practice to wash their hands ceremonially water and let the water drip down to their elbows prior to dinig. However, Jesus purposefully ignored this practice right in front of Pharisee in order to hit the point that the focus is not so much on the ceremonial practices/shows but on the heart, the inside. This public display mindset is akeen to #1 highly rated danger to be kept out at all cost, as illustrated by an unmarked grave. People then were very much afraid to get near to a grave for fear of getting unclean. Any association with the objects belong to a grave would be much discriminated. Thus graves would be marked to prevent people from getting near them and thus be unclean. Now, an unmarked grave is simply of highly rated danger. why? because you get unclean without even knowing why!
Luke11:37-54)
Then, one expert of law/ dedicated transcribers voiced out his displeasure towards Jesus' reprimanding and in turn drew more woes on his category. yea speaker, how regretful he must have felt if he were to see woes directed to him in the Bible now. These Jewish law writers were 'charged' by Jesus as rigid law givers who did not observe the laws themselves but instead burdened followers down.
